This year marked a major milestone for Wishbone: our 30th Anniversary.
Looking back at 1995, the world was a different place. And frankly, looking back at the start of this year, things looked uncertain. Between shifting cross-border tariffs and economic headwinds, the path forward wasn't easy. But we did what we've always done: we leaned into our roots, and we prioritized our relationships.
The result? Our biggest year on record.
But growth hasn't changed who we are. We know that our success doesn't come from a boardroom; it comes from the relationships we build with communities—big and small—across North America.
A Case Study in Connection: Osoyoos, BC
Nothing illustrates our journey better than our relationship with the Town of Osoyoos. We have photos of our benches installed there in the 90s, still standing strong. Today, we are still working with them on new projects. It's proof that while we are growing, we never forget the partners who got us here.
Feature: Family Values & The JEM Series
You might know the JEM Series as one of our top sellers, bringing Adirondack-style comfort to public spaces with municipal-grade durability.
While the name is a nod to our founder's three grandchildren, the line represents how we view our entire business: treating our partners like family. To celebrate our 30th year, we wanted to highlight those relationships in action. Earlier this year, we filmed a special project with our long-time colleagues at Van Der Zalm + Associates (VDZ) to show what true collaboration looks like.
This project encompasses our values so perfectly that we had to capture it on film. Just as Wishbone is celebrating decades of history, this playground has been a community staple for generations. The renovation honored that legacy while transforming it into a modern destination—a balance we strive for every day.
It is a beautiful full-circle moment: a product line inspired by our founder's grandchildren is now the creative solution allowing actual grandparents and nursing mothers to comfortably enjoy this space. It's a testament to the vision of VDZ and the City of Maple Ridge, proving that when we honor our roots while looking forward, we build spaces that serve the whole family.

Because you chose Wishbone recycled plastic and sustainable metals, together we diverted: 357,592 lbs / 162,201 kg of plastic waste this year alone.
Here's to the Next 30 As we head into 2026, we are growing, yes. But we promise you this: we will never lose sight of the small communities, the family values, and the personal handshakes that got us here.
